Arrival Details for Shepherds Delight

*IMPORTANT* You must leave the hut, hot tub and all areas in a respectful manner. Extra cleaning and damage will be chargeable.

Arrival MUST BE after 3pm (1pm on Saturdays only) and Departure must be by 10am (11am on Sunday)

Gate Code (the gate at the top of the drive is closed between 11pm and 6am) the code is 0304

Address: Fords Croft Farm, Crewkerne, Somerset, TA18 7TU (If travelling by train you MUST pre book a taxi)

From the A30 take the turning signposted Hinton St George. Drive slowly down the hill and the turning for Fords Croft Farm is the next
right hand turn. Just before the bridge turn left to follow the track along the woodland to the Shepherds huts and Hinton Hideaways.
Please do not drive around the bridge and down to the farmyard. This is a working farm so take care as you might meet a tractor on the drive.

Your Hut is Shepherds Delight

Your key will be located in a key safe next to the door of the Shepherds hut, There is a car parking space in front of your hut.

A welcome pack explaining how the site works will be provided in your Shepherds hut.

A starter pack for the fire is included and more wood is available from the honesty shop
instant bbqs are also available in the shop (there are no grills for cooking on the bbqs.)

If you book a Taxi, please tell them to come to the site and not to the
farm. It may be advisable to book Taxi’s in advance. Numbers are available on the website.

SHEPHERDS SHOP – In the main car park in front of Shepherds Zen you will find the Shepherds Shop, one side has bbqs, logs
kindling and firelighters and the other side is a small shop selling sweet and savoury snacks and other treats for your stay, either pay
in cash to the honesty box or email/text us with what you had and we will send a payment link (£5 minimum to pay this way). 

Gin Bar – Tonics in the fridge and first drinks are free, there is a suggested contribution of £5/drink thereafter.

HOT TUB INSTRUCTIONS

– The instructions for using the tub can be found on the fence in the corner by the tub.

– Close drain tap and fill the tub to approx 3-4 inches above the top hole using hose.

– Filling takes approx 15 mins and heating the tub takes approx 2hrs (stir halfway through).

– Heating the tub simply requires using the Eco logs from the plastic tub by the hot tub.

– IMPORTANT only light the fire when the tub is full and ONLY empty the tub when the burner has gone out and wipe any residue.

WOODLAND SAUNA INSTRUCTIONS

– Write your name in any times you want on the board by the sauna door.

– Switch sauna on and allow 5-10 mins to heat.

-Change into swimwear in changing room, don’t forget towels.

– Use the Woodland Shower after.

Site Rules

– Take care on outdoor surfaces as they may be slippery

– Leave the hut as you found it, wash up and clean pizza stone.

– No loud music

– No Swimming in the Lake

– Keep within designated areas of the site and out of the woods.

– No candles inside the hut

– Be respectful of the site and other guests.
